Absolutely. This could be a great place to store all those frequently asked questions on the list -- IT vs. Mar/Comm, CMS, OS, language, budget, staff.... all the things Adam tried to encompass in his database, only more flexible.
This sounds like a good idea. Something to keep in mind is that there may be might be folks who have sole and/or partial responsibility over multiple sites. I'm not too sure how Ning setup works, but I suspect that if the field is left open ended enough, people could make the call for themselves on what to list.
