Mount Holyoke College Library, Information, and Technology Services seeks an Applications Programmer. The position is a regular, full-time position reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, Systems, and Support. Responsibilities include developing, enhancing, programming, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, implementing, and maintaining software applications on multiple platforms and web browsers, ensuring system interoperability, security, and standards compliance; writing and maintaining documentation; and working in a team-based environment. Applications Programmer collaborates with individuals and departments within LITS and throughout campus in achieving goals.
Position requirements include excellent oral and written communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; strong service orientation with sensitivity to the needs of users at all skill levels; ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
