Using Gmail to Manage E-mail on Hosted Domains
I am considering using Gmail to manage the email on my personal domain. The extra space and interface on Gmail is much better than what's provided by my web hosting company.
Has anyone done this before? Any advise and guidance is greatly appreciated.

Yes we set it up for a little venture that a few guys I'm working with are doing. The whole suite is awesome. Meaning not just that it's through gmail and how simple that is to use by the Google Docs and Google Calendar functionality both great. Especially for sharing collaborative documents and syncing a calendar.

gmail has had some security issues over the past year and their terms of service make me not use it for official/sensitive email.

I've setup Google for Domains for all of my clients that request email as well as my domain mail. It works well when you integrate all of Google's other services into it, especially Google Docs.
It's also nice that it's free and supports IMAP.

On a short and quick note I'm using Google Mail on any website that a client has requested it to be used. No complaint from the clients thus far.
