Is anyone using landing pages for their university's online advertising? We are looking more into it and are in the trial stage for text/design/call to action.
Landing pages are considered a good idea because:

2. They let you boil down your message for specific audiences coming from specific ads.
3. Less clutter and confusion than directing people to your home page.
We've tried to use follow guidelines from Copyblogger
and also "Web Design for ROI"
by Lance Loveday and Sandra Niehaus.
