We are using Authorize.Net for all of our online donations. It's been very reliable for us. I wasn't involved in the decision to choose them, though, so I can't offer much insight as to why they might be better than other companies.
Currently, we're using a solution from CASHNet which is a "certified" partner with Sungard. Not the best solution in my opinion (as DJ mentioned, I wasn't involved in the selection), and we're looking around.
You are reading my mind Liberti. That was going to be one of my next questions. This is something that I need to get done now even before our new website redesign. It looks like from all of the responses that there is a scattershot of different options. My question is from all of the different services, does the service usually do the credit card processing for the school? Or do you have to have a separate company for that? Any input on how the procedure actually works would be greatly appreciated. Such as, get an account set up with company A, then that account is attached to the schools bank account, etc.
Thanks in advance to everyone for all of their input.
Greetings,What are you all doing online with "old" magazine stories? Do you delete issues after so many years? 5 years? 10? I'm torn between keeping all on for historical purposes or keeping just a few years online to simplify the site (ala Gerry McGovern.) Curious as to what you see best practices being.ThanksSara KisseberthBluffton Universitywww.bluffton.eduSee More
