For those of you that are using WordPress can you give me a little more info about how you attract your readers and track your stats? I am part of a team that is putting together a proposal to move our alumni mag online. First thought was a simple page flip option, but I made the suggestion of doing a blog-based ezine. Everyone seems to like the idea, but . . .
The suggestion was made to use Blackbaud's NetCommunity to create the magazine. I'm not sure this is the best choice. The idea is it could then connect directly into our NetCommunity for things such as Class Notes. I still prefer WordPress because I personally have created a couple of WordPress blogs (on my own server) and have a free account and know how easy it is to manage.
Any ideas. Things that have worked. Things that you wished you would've done differently.
