Objective:
1. Retain a working copy of the capstone as it existed at the time of submission
We'd like to archive the Web sites, but more frequently they are database-driven sites using something like WordPress. Currently, our students are using their own domains and hosting providers to build and store their capstones. We've tried saving those sites as HTML, but it's not ideal (links aren't preserved, etc.).
Does it make sense to:
- Request the files and database and make a copy of the site on our own servers?
- Or, offer hosting up-front for them to build their sites on our servers?
