I'm trying to get the skinny on MyCampus from any school willing to share. It has a "grant" process, which seems to be a necessity as its prices pre-grant are exorbitant. They claim the grant deadline is March 25, but every time I've talked to them the grant deadline is about one month away, so I'm a bit suspicious.

In addition to the above, I'd love to talk to anyone who has done any project with CampusEAI and can lend insight into their workings.

Thanks,
Michael

Michael,

Brookdale CC is a recipient of the CampusEAI "grant" and I would be happy to talk to you about our experiences with the company.

Please feel free to email me at pkahn@brookdalecc.edu if you want to schedule a time to discuss this further.

I think the first core question you need to ask is "Why portal?"
you are right - initially looking for a SSO solution, but the portal has morphed into an environment that supports collaboration, communities, etc. as well as content integration with the ERP.

Hi Michael,

We've worked with CampusEAI for a couple of years now -- I'm not the project lead, but could give you some insight and get you in touch with key people here who have worked with them more directly.  Just shoot me an email: lboltz@lourdes.edu.

Have a nice weekend,

We are currently using MyCampus portal here. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the CMS that they offer as well. Any information would be extremely helpful. You can also email me at jared.pereira@purchase.edu.

Cheers!

Come on people, spill the beans. LOL. We are looking at CampusEAI for their SSO solution (because it seems it'd be faster way to get that done) and I'm afraid some here may look at their "portal" and not pursue a more integrated portal solution.

Please share your insights.

Thanks,

Gregory
