It appears that someone has already claimed youtube.com/culveracademies. However, the channel has been terminated by YouTube for repeated violations.
My question... is there a way I can claim this channel or contact YouTube and have them transfer it to us?
How have you managed your brand name on YouTube?
Permalink Reply by Cassie Dull on October 17, 2012 at 10:02am Trent, I had to do this a couple years ago for Park Tudor. Our username had been taken but the channel was sitting empty. We figured someone at school had created it but couldn't find out who. I went through YouTube to claim the channel. You should first look at their username policy for trademarks: http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=15... and then you can fill out a trademark complaint form: https://support.google.com/youtube/bin/request.py?&contact_type...
The form looks a little intimidating, but they processed ours quick, no questions asked. Since that channel has been terminated, I imagine you should be able to claim it.
