Anyone want to recommend the software or application they use to manage events and create online calendars? Or mention one to steer clear of?
We have been reviewing CollegeNet's 25Live, which I found to be effective, though clunky and somewhat limited on the back end of things.
Thanks for any feedback.

We're using it over here at http://www.providence.edu
I agree, it is a bit on the clunktastic side, and it has been a bit of a bear to get properly set up (mostly the permission/security portion), but its really integrated well with our workflows and web site. On our home page our web dev and integrated it with SharePoint, our CMS. Its not a very good example at the moment, as its summer and there's not a lot going on, so there's not much "meat" there. If you are interested, drop me a line and I'll connect you with Chris our developer and he can fill you in. We're pretty happy with it now that we've gotten over the initial implementation hump.

Our space management department uses 25Live, and we were all set to go with that for our web calendar system, but after looking a lot closer at it, I found some things I really don't like. 25Live's web calendar is based on the Trumba product, and none of the events are able to be indexed by Google or any other search engine. That was the ultimate deal-breaker for me.
