I'm working on a syllabi creation web app, and one of the reqs is to spit out syllabi as PDF files. I've been playing around with the PHP library html2pdf with varying degrees of success, but I'm wondering if there are other open tools or services for generating PDFs within a web application. Thanks!
Permalink Reply by William Myers on May 1, 2012 at 3:30am I did a very similar functionality about a year ago and used wkhtlmtopdf (http://code.google.com/p/wkhtmltopdf/). It was a pain because the page width for print was not something that I was use to. You can run this through command line and generate a temp pdf file that then can be pushed to the browser.
