When you search for Union College in Google (https://www.google.com/#q=union+college) you get a little synopsis of the college in the right hand bar. The logo they are pulling is actually the college seal from a third party site. Does anyone have any tips on how to influence Google to pull a specific logo from our site (preferably of our choosing).
Right below that sidebar synopsis is a link to "Feedback" in tiny text. Click that link. Then click "Wrong" for the element that is inaccurate. A screen will appear asking for details. Provide a brief explanation, and click "Submit." See screenshots below.
Also, ask some other people to do the same over the next few days/weeks so that Google will receive more reports. I've found that it's more likely for inaccuracies to be correct when multiple reports are sent. But be sure space them out.
I'm not sure where they initially scraped that image from. Usually it comes from either Wikipedia or Freebase, but I checked both of those pages for your school and it doesn't appear on either one. Puzzling. You might try adding the correct seal to the Freebase page to see if it gets scraped.
