Imput on SharePoint, Ektron, Kenotic and SiteFinity ... and possible DotNetNuke

We are looking for a CMS that works well with dynamic .NET pages and have narrowed our search down to SharePoint, Ektron, Kenotic and SiteFinity. We might consider DotNetNuke too but aren't sure yet.

There seems to be a lot of CMS systems out there but many don't work with our .NET pages.

Does anybody have any negative or positive feedback on any of these?

I would strongly recommend that you consider Sitecore as an alternative to Ektron etc. It was written as a .net application from the ground up and, in our experience, performs superbly. (For context, we implement Sitecore, Sharepoint and Ektron solutions for our clients - upwards of 100 CMS implementations.)

Thanks for your input. I haven't opened any of them yet but the titles on the white papers sound like they would be helpful. We do use Sharepoint for our documentation but wanted something for our external web pages... something like this:

Do you know if Sitecore will allow us to "port" over our existing .NET dynamic pages, like the one above without a lot of work?

Hi Mark...it may be too late to add to this discussion, but another alternative you may want to consider is umbraco. It's an open source .NET CMS. It is very flexible and is adept at integrating .NET controls. I'm not usually impressed with many .NET CMS solutions, but seeing umbraco in action made me a believer.

I worked for a company for about three years that used DotNetNuke as the CMS for clients we hosted, and I have to be honest - I do not like it very much...mainly because it seems very slow (and I don't think that was just our servers). The features of it and ease of editing are pretty nice, but that did not outweigh the sluggishness of the CMS as a whole to me.
