Our university has just started work on implementing the CASHNet system to handle online payments and billings. With it, we're getting the ability to do an eMarketplace and do related web based sales and money taking.
My question for you is:
- Have you had experience with the CASHNet eMarketplace, and what would your advice be?
- What kind of policies and procedures do you have for online storefronts?
- Any tips for successful usage and implementation of such environments?
My role is specifically dealing with people setting up things for sale or donation basically. Athletics wants a photo shop for instance. Alumni would like to do things like calendars, mugs, license plates, etc. Advancement is looking to take donations. We're just wondering what kind of restrictions or procedures others have put in place to handle the random departments that come in and want to sell Item X.
