Online Event Registration Tools? Who do you recommend?

EventBrite, RegOnline, Convio, etc

I continue to get requests to provide a tool for online registration with eCommerce.   Though we are a development shop, I do not want to build these things internally.  So, what's an inexpensive, reliable solution?

It would be nice if it wired up to our existing payment gateways (Cybersource/Authorize.Net).  What are your experiences with this problem/need?  What solution(s) did you choose?

Thanks!

Have you looked at Wufoo (http://www.wufoo.com)? It's an online form-building tool which is very configurable, with the ability to create both simple and quite complex forms, including multi-page forms, forms with conditional logic, etc. It exports to Excel easily. Bonus: You can even include an "Upload File" field on your form if you need to accept photos, PDFs, etc.

The Caltech Alumni Association recently upgraded our account to a level which allows us to accept online payments through our forms, and it integrates easily and seemingly flawlessly with our Authorize.Net account. Definitely worth a look.

Wordpress setup advice needed

Hello,We were asked to set up a wordpress demo site for the communication office to test it out. We're looking for a multi-departmental setup. The overall template will be the same, but each departmental sub-site will have its own menu on the left; The web writers/editor should be able to create content on existing pages and submit them for review to the approver. The departmental users should only be able to edit their personal departmental sites. I have installed and configured plain…See More
