Has someone on your campus developed a formal social media policy or guidelines as many corporations have for their employees?

I know WSU Vancouver has developed guidelines for Facebook and Twitter, but I'm wondering if other campuses have developed a non-tool-specific comprehensive social media policy you'd be willing to share and point us to?

Me, too! cherylan at mst dot edu Thank you!!
I would love to see what you came up with, if it's not too late! stacy dot pena at utsa dot edu Thanks.
Thanks, Rachel, for starting the conversation. We have a group getting together this afternoon to get the ball rolling on this. I will be very interested in seeing what others have put together. Blatant plagiarism, I mean Best Practices, may the most efficient way to come up with Version 1.
We (MU) are currently in the draft stage of our Social Media Policy and Best Practices. I cant share it publicly (since it is still in draft stage) but if you would like to view a copy, please contact myself or Jason Rollins (http://cuwebd.ning.com/profile/JasonRollins)
I went to Blogwell in NYC back in April. I used their Disclosure Toolkit template as a starting point to develop a policy for my college.
We've started working on the same as well at Eastern Kentucky University. Is "social media" the more accepted term, then? We've been calling it "social web."

Of possible interest, check out Social Media Best Practices for Law Schools (http://smbpls.ning.com/). This Ning site was birthed following a CALI workshop held this past summer.
Thank you Kristina. This is certainly an interesting draft that offers a lot of "food for thought".
You can find the ones we created for Queen's University here: http://www.queensu.ca/www/socialmedia/

If anyone has any feedback on them please let me know.

I have to agree with Bradjward - DePaul did a great job! Kris G from DePaul was kind enough to let us 'borrow' ideas from them! Thanks DePaul!

Office Reservation software

I've been tasked with finding a software tool that helps manage the onboarding and exit process of new and departing faculty. Ultimately i would like this software to management faculty office interms of when resources can be removed from a particular office and when a new faculty member can be moved in with the necessary resources. This tool should have notifications and alerts so there are no conflicts with someone being removed from a office and someone being placed in a office. Does anyone…See More
