If anyone is using TouchNet for eCommerce and Wufoo for anything, please contact Wufoo and request that they partner with TouchNet for payment integration. TouchNet is willing but Wufoo does not "have any immediate plans for additional payment integrations." I'm hoping that if a few more schools ask, they may reconsider. Thank you!

This is requesting that Wufoo become a TNET Ready Partner?

Yes. I'd really love to see Wufoo as a TouchNet Ready partner. I had a good discussion with TouchNet about it, but they said that vendors without a strong higher ed presence would be more likely to partner if asked by customers (as opposed to being approached by TouchNet). I contacted Wufoo about it but immediately received the standard "no immediate plans" response.

What are your use cases for Wufoo at this time that require collecting payment? (e.g. Event registration...)

Primarily event registration at this point. We have a lot of one page event registration forms and are constantly being asked for more. The forms require some basic calculations and conditional logic which make them a little too complicated for TouchNet's uStores but not quite complicated enough to require a full-blown event management system. Since Wufoo is so easy to use and we're already a customer, integration with TouchNet would be perfect.

I agree with event registration being a bit much to fit into the TouchNet uStore framework. We use CVent for event registration, but I am eager to see Wufoo offer TouchNet as an Payment Integration option. An alternative solution for integrating TouchNet and Wufoo could be discovered @ http://help.wufoo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6395

This would require development unfortunately.

I actually researched doing my own TouchNet uPay integration using Webhooks. It's definitely possible, but the necessary compromises are too much in my opinion. Since Wufoo doesn't have calculated fields and only allows you to use the payment calculations and running totals if you're using one of their partnered vendors, you would either have to use a hard coded payment amount or code separate back ends for each form. Then, if a user changes the form in Wufoo, they risk breaking the back end. It would be so rigid that it would negate most of the benefits of Wufoo in the first place.

I think CVent is one of the products we're going to evaluate as we move to plan B.

Thanks, I would love this as well. I just submitted my request. I'm going to try asking that our university open an Authorize.net account, but for now we're only using TouchNET.

uStores are fine for shopping cart functionality, but we're shoehorning in everything that requires a payment, like events, donations, etc. I've tried using uPay so that we can build our own form front end and send them to TouchNET to collect payment info, but the reporting is a pain because then we have form data on our end, and transaction data on their end, and no easy way to connect the two data sets.

I sent a request into Wufoo as well.  Touchnet integration would be helpful.  Wufoo is awesome.  I hope they do it.
