uwebd Members 'In the Wild' - Carrie Saarinen ROCKS!

Our fellow uwebd member, Carrie Saarinen, kicked off a cool community blogging project for Worcester, MA and surrounding towns during the New England blizzard (12/2010). The project continues to grow and was featured in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette -  http://www.telegram.com/article/20101231/FOSKETT/101239963. (Full disclosure - I am also a participant in her project).

I'd love to see other uwebd projects 'in the wild' (community - away from work). Also, are any of you using similar community blogging methods on campus? Please do share!

I've enjoyed being part of Carrie's project and am already thinking of ways to adapt and use it at work.

Aw, shucks, Claudia. Them's mighty kind words.

I'm psyched to learn that the Posterous/storm blog inspired you to try something at Nichol's. College life is ripe with events groups and activities for short term blogs that have the potential for long term use. Keep us posted (Posterous'ed?) on whatever develops.

Well done Carrie...  Glad to see the blog get some mention on the Telegram and I like contributing.

Wow - cosmic connection. I JUST read your recent post on the Posterous site. Holy cow - great stuff MIKE! Keep it up. Spot on, my friend. That's the kind of 411 (public city resources) that should be on a community blog.

Looking FWD to the blogger meetup on the 22nd. Are you going?
