This Web professional will serve as an important part of the College Communications team for the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) and is responsible for updating and maintaining current CAFNR sites and developing new sites as needed. Working in a small, dynamic team to maintain the College’s reputation across platforms, this position requires a blend of technical accuracy and artistry. The ideal candidate will appreciate how the Web fits into the CAFNR communications marketing plan and contribute to discussions of a multifaceted strategy. Develop and maintain college, division-wide and internal Web sites in accordance with CAFNR Web site standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, communication skill and a background in managing editorial content. Work will include page design; editing of content contributions; addition of graphic, audio and video elements; finding and linking additional resources; and helping maintain social media presence.
