University Web Developers

University Web Developers

We’re looking for a web developer with the skill and work ethic to keep everything running under the hood. This position supports an XML-based, .NET content management system (Ingeniux) and various third-party web apps.

We want someone with a strong command of details who is also able to work toward bigger picture goals. For this person, user experience and good code are complementary goals, not competing goals.

How our website runs is vital to the satisfaction of our users and to our overall success as a University. We want someone who can take ownership of that vital need.

You should know the basics of object-oriented design, have some experience developing on the Microsoft technology stack, the desire to continue learning about all aspects of web development and the motivation to get the job done.

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Interested in helping to continually improve our web development process

  • Interested in staying current by learning new technologies

  • Able to work in a collaborative environment with a willingness to share your ideas

  • Able to work independently on projects and complete tasks with high quality, but not afraid to seek out suggestions from other team members

  • Willing to provide excellent support to our end users

  • Familiar with the following web technologies:  HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery, C#, ASP.NET MVC and XML

If this is you we’d love to have you be a part of our team.
