That is a really nice feature (replacing videos) that I wasn't aware of. Thanks for the heads up. We just got a new camera (Canon 5d Mark II) that shoots such sweet video that I'm a bit sad to see the compressed versions that YouTube hosts... Thanks!

Michael, Vimeo does now play nicely with mobile and iOS devices. One thing I really like about Vimeo is that you can replace a file when you need to... say you had to make an edit after posting... and the URLs all stay the same if you've embedded the video somewhere. I don't think Youtube has that option. And HD video looks very nice on Vimeo.

Hi Steve. Video is quite a venture, yes. I see you like Vimeo Paul. I've been on the fence about them or YouTube for a while. Does Vimeo play well with mobile devices?

Hi folks. Just found this group too. I was a professional photographer for 18 years before changing gears and working at SFU. I'm doing a little photography for the University and have ventured off into doing some video too.

Hi Claudia! I'm just joining too. Doesn't seem to be a lot of action around here : ) I work at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO. I like to shoot for fun, but I have also been trying to shoot for the University's website and social media outlets:
