Does anyone have any suggestions to improve the keyboard accessibility of Camtasia's Flash player?
Camtasia's player seems to require you to be focused on the player (which, by default is impossible without explicitly setting the tabIndex) and requires you to use the tab button to move back and forth between the controls. In other words, if you are focused on the play/pause button (the leftmost control), and you press the left cursor button on your keyboard, it doesn't do anything. If you are focused on the volume control (the control directly to the right of the progress bar) and you press the right cursor button, it moves the focus to the next control to the right, rather than fast forwarding.
Alternatively, if you think this is the correct way for video/Flash keyboard accessibility to work, please let me know. I am still rather new to the whole concept of video accessibility.
Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated. I am using the latest updated version of Camtasia 6 (version 6.0.6 Build 885). Thank you.
