Christine,

I'm curious how you setup your in-house syncing system...do you have two separate processes for the files and the database?
Derek Comment by Derek on September 2, 2009 at 5:02pm
Hello,
Does anyone run their Ektron-powered site in precompiled mode?
We currently don't, but I am think there may be some performance benefits.

Thanks,
Derek

We set up an in-house syncing system and are not using Ektron's. They wanted more money from us to use it so we opted to not set it up.

Anyone running Ektron with eSync? How often do you have it scheduled to run? What's your protocol in updating content files immediately?

Hey William. That's actually a good thing since some of our people are ColdFusion developers. May I use you as a resource as well?

Hi Rodney,

Please call me Chris. :) I do remember now that you jogged my memory. Yes, please call in the future if need advice on Ektron.
Rodney S. Toliver Comment by Rodney S. Toliver on June 9, 2009 at 9:47am
Thank you both. I'm sorry that I am late in responding. The format for our project changed slightly so I won't actually need an in-depth interview like I thought. However, I will be needing your help in the very near future since our college and District is implementing the Ektron system. Would you both be willing? We are behind both of you in the process.

Hello Ms. Goodwin. You won't remember me but my colleague and I remember you. We conferenced with you by phone some time ago. Thank you!

Does anyone have a custom web page for mobile users? If so, did your University develop the page internall or did you farm out development to a third party? I am investigating solutions to create a mobile-friendly page at a reasonable cost.
