I am pretty sure this is not just wishful thinking. We have a few pages that are randomly tanking while the rest of the site is staying pretty steady. At first I was just depressed, but did some reconnaissance and have actually proven* we are not getting the right tracking data. One page is a major landing page that was recently converted to CMS and another is our online donations form that is in an iframe. Has anyone heard of CMS or iframes skewing tracking results? That's my only theory.

*One page I know is not tracking right is our online donation page. We actually received 10 online gifts for 10 different people but GA only showed one visitor for the same time period.

Maybe you should check the code on these pages? If the dates align from when traffic dropped to when you converted to CMS it may have affected the Google tracking code. We had these issues in our CMS.

I would definitely check the source code for your page. If you want to quickly check whether or not a page has the google tracking code in it, look at the firefox extension wasp: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4001
