SAML authentication
Has anyone looked at authenticating Ning users using SAML or Sibboleth?
I hear this authentication approach is being widely adopted in the US.
In Australia, the Australina Access Federation (AAF) has adopted Shibboleth authetication for authentication educational institutions and services providers to assist with research collaboration.
Griffith University is looking into options to authenticate to externally hosted software and services using this mechanism as a standard.
