If you are attending the Stamats SIM Tech 2009 in Boston, make sure you go see Lance Merker, OmniUpdate CEO, speak on “What a CMS Can Do for You: Tools, Tips and Tricks for Enabling Site,” from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Wed., Nov.11. Lance will also participate in a CMS discussion panel being held that same day from 4:15 to 5:15 PM. He welcomes your questions!

OmniUpdate congratulates Nathan Gerber, Director of Web Development Services, Utah Valley University, for his acceptance to speak on “The Benefits of SaaS Web CMS-Managing the Budget While Improving Agility, Adaptability, and Responsiveness," at the 2010 EDUCAUSE Southwest Regional Conference, Feb. 17-19 in Austin, Texas. The next OmniUpdate Training Tuesday Class on Writing for the Web is now open for registration. The class will be held at 11:00 Pacific Time, November 24, 2009.

Our guest presenter is Ms. Stephanie Geyer, Associate Vice President, E-communications and Web Strategy, Noel-Levitz. Her session will give practical advice on how to write for the Web. She will look at data on how users read online and outline strategies to ensure that your copy meets user needs and keeps them moving through your site.
