Hi Brian, talk to Colleen Green at CSU Fullerton. She is very involved in their library and OU Campus efforts.
Our library's OmniUpdate site went live this past Monday. You can view it at: http:www.library.fullerton.edu.
We're using OU Campus for our various library content teams (aka "beats") to manage the more static informational part of our website. Like all library websites, our "website" is actually a couple dozen different web services, e-resources, and discovery tools -- along with basic information pages. In reality the OU part of our library "website" makes up only about 10-15% of our entire "website", but it's highly visible content.
We skinned all other web services, e-resources, and discovery tools to get the same look & feel of the template being used on the OU part of our website. Previously, most of these each had a totally different look. So, this is a huge visual boost to our entire library website. We've really tried with this redesign to provide patrons with a more consistent user navigation experience, and consistent branding.
Like MANY libraries, we use Springshare's LibGuides, and also their LibAnswers. We have heavily integrated these with OU Campus via APIs and assets -- and have a bunch of additional ideas to roll out in future site releases.
Please hit me up if you have specific questions.
