@David - what is the process in which you are engaged during which you want to be able to make this selection from a list? (new page creation, navigation editing, etc.)

Has anyone developed or know of a vendor who can develop an add-in for OUC that will allow the parent for sections and pages to be changed by selecting the parent from a list.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, Snippets is the missing answer. We normally consider Auxiliary Sites the 4th answer, but RSS is a good one. So, I'll be making an executive decision and be sending you that jacket.

Comment by Justin Gatewood on July 5, 2012 at 1:19pm

Snippets - they are separate from Assets (although, you can use a snippet as an asset if you want), and the content is reusable as well.

Very close. Include Files and Assets are correct. We consider XML using XSL to be part of the Include Files.  Although we did not originally think of RSS as reusable content, we could give you that (time to expand our list). You'll have to find one more answer.

Include files, Assets (images, code snippets, images, etc.), pulling from XML using XSL, RSS?

Office Reservation software

I've been tasked with finding a software tool that helps manage the onboarding and exit process of new and departing faculty. Ultimately i would like this software to management faculty office interms of when resources can be removed from a particular office and when a new faculty member can be moved in with the necessary resources. This tool should have notifications and alerts so there are no conflicts with someone being removed from a office and someone being placed in a office. Does anyone…See More
