The OU Campus Support site is being updated today with additional documentation (and examples of their use) for these new features.

Appreciate the 8.12 update but could use some real-world examples of how best to use this new feature. (Though I may be alone in this request!)

Kathie. Thanks for the great topic ideas for our Training Tuesdays. I think that you've described a couple that we can cover in the next few training sessions. Several of your suggestions are great to get feedback from your peers on how they have paved the path before you. I would encourage you to start a discussion about them on the OCN as well as here.

Today’s Training Tuesday class on the Global Find and Replace feature in OU Campus was a success. Customers can view the recording on the OmniUpdate Community Network.

I'd like Training Tuesday classes on several different topics: best practices for creating and uploading media files to your web site - do you use a style guide across campus, do you use iTunes, YouTube, or just place files within your website? And maybe another one for users who are new to creating web pages altogether - basics like file naming conventions, the concepts of keeping content fresh and up to date, etc. Also, I'd like to learn more about "managing" your web site after you've implemented the CMS - how much control of the content do you retain, how do you manage overall maintenance of the site, how do you bring the rogue staff on board with using the CMS and not just creating their own website and linking to it from the official site (training aimed at site administrators)?

Customer participation in the 2009 OmniUpdate Training Tuesday classes has been amazing! What training classes would you like to see offered in 2010?
