DESCRIPTION:
What is SharePoint? Do you use it? Do you want to learn more about it?
This SIG will be an introductory discussion on SharePoint 2007, what it is, why it is useful and how it can be useful for student collaboration and workplace efficiency.

We’ll also having a panel discussion at the end of the session to have a good dialogue between presenters and attendees of where different schools are in their implementations of SharePoint and what they think of it so far.
Our goal is to build a SharePoint users group from this initial SIG. The discussion and presentations will balance both technical and non-technical perspectives.

How was the training? I've taken one with a company called, Mind Sharp that was excellent. Are you designer/developer? Both?

Hi Group,
Just started at SPC in FL. I am a newbie to SP but will be going to training in Chicago next week - Extreme Makeover SharePoint 2007 Edition – Branding and Customization.

Anything I should be aware of or be sure I find out? Andy of you in FL?
