Does anyone know of an app that will allow me to display our college's Twitter Feed (http://twitter.com/newpaltz) within our official Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/New-Paltz-NY/SUNY-New-Paltz/5659124699), or at least an app that will allow me to embed Flash code that Twitter will give me to display our badge?

I've found Flash embed app's for personal profiles, but not for Pages yet. I have a vague recollection of reading about the ability to incorporate Flash into Facebook in recent months, but don't recall if that was for personal profiles or Facebook Pages, or where I read this.

There's a Facebook app that will accomplish this for you. (Probably more than one, in fact.)
TwitterSync isn't for Facebook Pages, only for Facebook personal profiles.
No? I was able to add it just fine, but I'm having trouble with that Twitter account this morning and haven't gotten it completely going yet.
I see it now has a button to "Add to Page" (this is new I believe), but I still can't get it to work. I'm also confused because it says its purpose is to sync your Facebook & Twitter status, and Facebook Pages don't have status. So, does it just display Twitter's status somewhere instead in theory if it works? Can you give me the URL to your Page?
It can also update the minifeed -- there's a checkbox in the prefs.

Our page is here, but I don't have it working yet either -- my account got hosed in yesterday's downtime, and I'm waiting for a reply from support.
I do have the mini-feed box checked, but it's still not appearing, and my Twitter account is fine. Hmm....
Check it out! It magically started working! It's still not what I was initially envisioning, but at least it's now appearing in my mini-feed!
Cool! I'll keep an eye out for better solutions.
Hi Rachel,
How did you solve your issue of adding Twitter to Facebook. I have a non-higher ed and 2 higher ed clients looking to do it but haven't solved it. I've added the Twitter app to the page but no feed shows up.
p.s. TwitterSync is dead.
Unfortunately I haven't found a great solution. All I'm using is the "Simply RSS" application, and have the Twitter feed as one of the RSS feeds displaying. But, it doesn't update automatically. It only updates when I manually go in to Edit Page, then edit the Simply RSS app, then edit the Twitter feed. I don't make any changes, but just pretending I do wakes it up. I haven't talked to anyone that's found a better solution. Surprising that our code-y friends haven't yet developed an app to solve this for us.
Rachel,

OOPS - didn't read the whole thread - sorry for suggesting something that was already suggested ;-)

Have you tried to display your updates on your page by using the RSS feed of your Twitter update?
I'm pretty sure some basic apps will allow to do this.
Just a thought.
