Catalog CMS

We are on the lookout for a web CMS for our academic catalog. I'd be grateful to hear recommendations or warnings from other university faculty and staff. Vendors need not reply at this time. We are ready to upgrade from a Word-to-PDF workflow.I reviewed the older threads here and took some notes, but since they are a little old I thought I would ask again for any fresh recommendations or warnings.See More

Hi Anthony,

With your interest in Education Technology and the Web, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

Thanks. We just hired someone this past Monday for the CMS/Web Programmer position. However, I'll keep this resource in mind for possible future postings.

I don't normally join these groups so I was wondering if it is OK or not to post a job for a web developer. We are looking for someone with Plone/Zope experience to migrate our site to Plone. Please reply to ddz@psu.edu. Thanks.
