Eric Juden replied to BlueNorma's discussion What browser are you using to edit? in the group RedDot CMS Users
"Hi BlueNorma, If you are only editing, not doing administration, Firefox should work fine for you. As for working in SmartTree, you pretty much have to use IE for that. I'm running IE8 and using SmartTree. I occasionally have a window lock up,…"

What browser are you using to edit?

Using OpenText 9.0.0.27 and having trouble with both IE 7 and IE 8. IE 7 shuts down intermittently while using Open Text. IE 8 will load pop ups for awhile and then stop.I'm pretty sure it has something to do with IE, and since I no longer use it, I'm out of the loop on known issues and how to make "adjustments." Firefox is better, but some functions are grayed out.Anyone have suggestions?See More

Should we migrate to https?

I recently got a notice from Google that in October 2017 Chrome V62 with show the warning "NOT SECURE" on all our web pages we have a input field for search. Since on most of our pages there is nothing that would require secure information I've never felt the need for HTTPS. Our class registration pages are secure but not the general information pages. The warning is going to scare people though. Are others upgrading their websites?See More
