We're in the process of implementing a CMS. A selection committee went through a number of vendors over the last two years. I joined the process in time to try out Cascade. The selection committee was comprised of a bunch of techies and we had a h...

Because our campus is decentralized, we were hoping to put up a Connect with CSUF page similar to what you've got there at Emory. It's nice to have an example. Have you been able to measure whether or not it's successful?

We saw a lot of steady growth numerically for FB and Twitter after putting links and icons on our university homepage. Engagement is still in its infancy however.

There will be a 'working group' forming on campus to discuss a unified strategic direction to herd the various cats toward, but there isn't a university set of guidelines for its employees and faculty specifically covering social media.

Hi Rebecca, I had a chance to try out Hannon Hill's Cascade CMS. As a developer, my response can be summed up as "I really don't want to use this." The user interface wasn't intuitive and the simplest tasks required an inordinate amount of settin...

Thanks Brenden. This helps a lot. Our agency has been trying to pinpoint the issue, but it is looking more like an isolated internal issue. With 26% of our site visitors using Firefox, we want to make sure the pages are displaying correctly.

Best regards,

Brian

I'm using a version of PHPLive I've been customizing for the past few years. Although I've used the meebome widget before too. The nice thing about it is that if no one is online to answer the chat it prompts them to leave a message.
