Primary Job Responsibility
At CLC, I am the primary web developer for the College’s main web site (www.clcillinois.edu), James Lumber Center web site (jlcenter.clcillinois.edu), Workforce & Professional Development Institute web site (wpdi.clcillinois.edu) and intranet. My responsibilities include:
- Work with Public Relations on design and organization of web sites
- Code templates using XHTML and CSS
- Design and develop data-driven applications using ASP, .NET/C# and SQL Server (e.g. content management tools, event listing, A to Z index, display including search of course description data extracted from PeopleSoft, etc.)
- Ensure web site meets Illinois and Federal accessibility requirements
- Manage Verity Ultraseek Search Engine and Google Custom Search
- Monitor web stats using WebTrends and Google Analytics
