We're using WordPress to run our homepage (with seven Loops!), and most of our sub-sites. Everything on that homepage is based on content stored inside a WordPress Page, Link, or Post. The sub-sites are individual installations at the moment, but ...

I've just redone our Writing Center site in WP. We're still working out some issues with the category archives -- easily if tediously solved by creating category-specific theme files -- but otherwise it's going well. You can see how we've split th...

Since you are in the CMS group, I was hoping you could advise me. UB is setting up a university-wide content management system and we are exploring what best practices other universities are doing. In particular, we are trying to identify universities that are:

* Using a CMS enterprise wide, or with several departments

* Have governance or policies in place

* Have a form of centralized staffing

* And hopefully are encouraging best practices in content and user experience.

If you can take the brief survey at https://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/8727g3fd23 (no longer than 2-5 minutes) it would help us gather preliminary information that will assist us in our initial phase of research. If you know of someone in your organization better suited to fill this out, please feel free to pass this along.

We are looking for initial responses by Thursday, October 15th.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or my assistant Kyriakos Zannikos (716-645-4652 or zannikos@buffalo.edu)

Thanks in advance,

As I review admissions pages and applications, I've discovered there are few admissions pages that have an easy to find call to action to apply. The norm seems to be scanning a lot of text to find the "to apply" choice.

John, Not sure if you've seen this already, but check out Common Admissions Application. Looks like a number of higher ed schools across the country use it.
