Moodle, BlackBoard, etc. -- pro/cons/things of learning management systems to think about?

I'm working on an academic continuity plan, and one of the issues that's come up is a lack of any rhyme or reason about learning management systems. Teaching Continuity Plans?

We activated our emergency preparedness plan today in light of the now 10 suspected cases of swine fluin metro Seattle. One problem I ran into right away was a lack of a teaching continuity plan in our documentation. I need to have someone in the hands of the higher-ups by tomorrow. In the event of a long-term campus closure, we want to be able to give the faculty some instruction on how to run a course online.Does anyone else have a teaching continuity plan I can look over/crib from?See More
