Since you are in the CMS group, I was hoping you could advise me. UB is setting up a university-wide content management system and we are exploring what best practices other universities are doing. In particular, we are trying to identify universities that are:

* Using a CMS enterprise wide, or with several departments

* Have governance or policies in place

* Have a form of centralized staffing

* And hopefully are encouraging best practices in content and user experience.

If you know of someone in your organization better suited to fill this out, please feel free to pass this along.

I replied to this thread on the uweb site but thought I would comment again here. My flight to eduWeb gets in to PHL on Sunday a little earlier than yours. I would be extremely grateful if I could catch a ride with you from the airport since you will have a car. I'll be happy to contribute to gas or at least treat you to beverages (adult or otherwise) once we get to AC. Thank you!

Hi Eric :-) Thanks for the comment. University of Iowa Foundation huh? Sounds like we could trade notes some time :-)

New UI is done as of yesterday and working on clean up of interface. Hosted solution setup with pricing ranging from $100 per month up to 15,000, depending on choices.

I am really digging my son! He is a lot of fun.

Hi Eric. Refresh my memory ... your name sounds familiar, and I'm trying to remember if I met you at a conference. You didn't give us the benefit of identifying you by your pix!

Any ideas on how to have this site hit critical mass and make it stick? I'm convinced that a social network for higher ed web professional is a good idea.
