Offering design services for departments

I need some feedback regarding offering design services for departments internally.I work for a smaller school with a web staff of only two people (including myself). Up to this point, we've allowed departments to hire external firms to create custom designs for their department, but we do not offer design services for departments internally. We are now considering offering design services internally, but are thinking that if we did so, we would want to charge departments for those designs. One…See More

Who's in charge of social media?

After having dabbled in social media for the past couple of years, our institution has decided to really start utilizing social media to a fuller extent.  Until this point, our web team has been the main contributor to our social media efforts.  However, our admissions office is the one who has really taken the lead on this new effort, which is great, but the problem that we're having right now is that no one really "owns" the management of our social media strategy as a whole. So my question…See More

Office Reservation software

I've been tasked with finding a software tool that helps manage the onboarding and exit process of new and departing faculty. Ultimately i would like this software to management faculty office interms of when resources can be removed from a particular office and when a new faculty member can be moved in with the necessary resources. This tool should have notifications and alerts so there are no conflicts with someone being removed from a office and someone being placed in a office. Does anyone…See More
