If you can take the brief survey at https://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/8727g3fd23 (no longer than 2-5 minutes) it would help us gather preliminary information that will assist us in our initial phase of research. If you know of someone in your organization better suited to fill this out, please feel free to pass this along.
We are looking for initial responses by Thursday, October 15th.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or my assistant Kyriakos Zannikos (716-645-4652 or zannikos@buffalo.edu)

But we are encouraging people to include tags when they publish content, so as to make their pages more findable and, yes, to make it easier for everyone to find related content.
The tags and breadcrumbs are independent. The breadcrumbs simply follow the path back up the tree (our hierarchical menu, not the path created by the visitor), while a tag goes to any content tagged with the same tag.
Not sure if folksonomic tags are what you meant, but those are the tags at the bottoms of our pages. I hope this was helpful!
