We're building one in house, it should go to the app store for review by the end of the year. We are primarily focusing on the campus community, but have developed a process where any department that wants to extend the app (i.e. Admissions, Athle...

Hello Seth, I'd like to learn how to use google analytics with email campaigns. I vaguely remember reading something about adding "?_something" at the end of the links in the email to track how many people are reaching a page via the special email...

I'd like to learn more efficient ways to do things I already do in a somewhat cumbersome fashion -- track traffic sources, both aggregate and for specific pages; create regular reports (how much can be automated?); use the site overlay. Some defin...

Twitter and its use in the Higher Ed Web Dev Community

Last December, a social media expert and blogger, Jer… Continue

I'm very eager to try this out, unfortunately our account has not had the feature enabled just yet. If nothing else, it moves captioning down a step from creating, to just an editing process.

Anyone have success with a online app for taking room reservations? We've been using Google Calendar/Docs to accept/publish our online room reservations. It did about 80% of what we needed and was free and great. However, it presents some challe...

Hi Steve - It is a re-design and CMS implementation as one project. Sorry I didn't clarify that in my first post. We've got through a good part of the learning curve on Drupal as a CMS though there are some things that are still puzzling us, so w...

Yeah - that was a basic first thought just because I saw the same issue and the cheaper/older PC's had the problems. Didn't think of the plug-ins, never checked those...very good idea. Pandora makes a good point too on the frame rates...it may pr...

We've had so many problems using Ektron 7.6.5 that we're considering upgrading to 8.0. However, we're concerned that while doing this might solve the 7.6.5 bugs, going through the upgrade might generate new issues. We work primarily on Mac/Firefox...

Thanks for your help! I did notice it plays fine on the newer PC browsers. Must be a plugin issue with older versions of IE etc. :)
