ExpressionEngine?

Although I am a webmaster I lean more to web designer- that being said I need as much help as I can get. I am looking into creating blogging communities, having press releases and sports stories served to the website by those who do not know HTML or Dreamweaver. We are a small college and do not need a super-solution. In the last couple of days I have been looking at ExpressionEngine that runs less than $500 fully loaded.Let me know what you think.See More

My First Post EVER

I am indeed not from another planet but this is indeed my first post. Don't get me wrong I have read my share of blogs, but I guess I never thought I had anything important to say. I'm quite sure I still don't but I'll never know if I don't try.

Since you are in the CMS group, I was hoping you could advise me. UB is setting up a university-wide content management system and we are exploring what best practices other universities are doing. In particular, we are trying to identify universities that are:

* Using a CMS enterprise wide, or with several departments

* Have governance or policies in place

* Have a form of centralized staffing

* And hopefully are encouraging best practices in content and user experience.

If you can take the brief survey at https://vovici.com/wsb.dll/s/8727g3fd23(no longer than 2-5 minutes) it would help us gather preliminary information that will assist us in our initial phase of research. If you know of someone in your organization better suited to fill this out, please feel free to pass this along.

We are looking for initial responses by Thursday, October 15th.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or my assistant Kyriakos Zannikos (716-645-4652 or zannikos@buffalo.edu)

Thanks in advance,
