Oberlin Annual Fund
Primary Job Responsibility
I work with volunteers from the classes of 1970 - 1983 to solicit annual gifts for the Oberlin Alumni Fund. I am responsible for any reunions that fall within these class years, including setting reunion fundraising goals and implementing strategies to meet these goals. I also am responsible for writing solicitation letters and e-mails that are sent to various segments of our alumni body, from various departments and/or programs. I use Harris Connect to send these e-mails out to alumni, parents, and friends. I am also currently in charge of maintaining the Office of Development's web site, and will be trained to do so in CMS once our office is transitioned to that format. In my down time, I run gift reports and analyze donor data to more effectively target the alumni we wish to reach.
