Obviously this has had issues with branding and with departments not updating open source WCMS tools etc.  Much of this is…See More

Defining redirect standards

We are starting to see an increase in departments moving URLs.  Part of this is a result of many old departmental websites still being hosted at a /~department url. The issue we have recently been discussion is how to best handle redirects for these pages.  In some cases it is easy when the site moves the same content to a new URL and we can easily do a 301 redirect that maps all content to the new URL.The questions arises about what best approach to take when the move also involved a new…See More

Web Advisory

After many years I am finally getting some traction to get a Web Advisory Group together for our University. I've found it best to give good examples when presenting to our upper adminstration, so I'm looking for some links to Missions, Charters, etc at other schools asa resource to help develop the core functions of this group.Thanks-mattSee More

Office Reservation software

I've been tasked with finding a software tool that helps manage the onboarding and exit process of new and departing faculty. Ultimately i would like this software to management faculty office interms of when resources can be removed from a particular office and when a new faculty member can be moved in with the necessary resources. This tool should have notifications and alerts so there are no conflicts with someone being removed from a office and someone being placed in a office. Does anyone…See More
