I should have known I'd find you here. You've been very helpful since the eduWeb conference. I'm looking forward to familiarizing myself with this new resource.
Hi Mark- might we set up another time to meet? We here at the SSW our hoping to "launch" our site to the broader public...would be great to compare notes, get your advice. I've really found this site to be a great resource! Laura
I would like to say that I found your presentation highly interesting at the ConnectU Conference yesterday. I am looking forward to reading some of the suggested books that you talked about! Thanks!
Thanks Mark! Yes, Colorado is an ill kept secret (we have too much snow, really! :-) ) and the Springs is a stunning place to live. My family got stuck here 5 generations ago -- or as I like to say, we got kicked out of the East early.
Thanks for the add, and I really appreciate this site.
Hi Mark! Thanks for the welcoming words. I was a little apprehensive about joining uwebd...didn't want to step on any toes. :)
So cool that you've heard of us and have spoken with Jordan. He's great, no? I'm excited to see what we come up with, too. And also to see how the relationship between web 2.0 and higher ed continues to evolve in general. Some mighty interesting things going on around these parts...
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone's taken the Pipe (http://cuwebd.ning.com/forum/topics/aggregated-uwebd-twitter-feed) and run with it... and I haven't gotten any smarter in the meantime. :-)
Used a different email address. Go figure. Great group of people here. Thanks very much for the invite.

I look forward to joining the community. TC

Thanks for the add. Loved your talk at eduweb - really inspired us! And thanks for introducing us to Ning. I took a page out of your book and started a site for my HOA, too.
Greetings,What are you all doing online with "old" magazine stories? Do you delete issues after so many years? 5 years? 10? I'm torn between keeping all on for historical purposes or keeping just a few years online to simplify the site (ala Gerry McGovern.) Curious as to what you see best practices being.ThanksSara KisseberthBluffton Universitywww.bluffton.eduSee More

Thanks for the welcome. It's such a nice experience to have a human being greet me upon signing up.
I'm a little embarrassed that I haven't joined this site yet, but better late than never. This is such a lively group.
Thanks also for the comment on the EdUI conference. I hope it turns out well. This is certainly a tough year for travel and training budgets.
Cheers,
John
