Just wanted folks to know that we've re-opened this position. Having a hard time finding qualified applicants who want to come to Rolla, Missouri. It's really not a bad place to live, especially if you love the outdoors, fly fishing, canoeing/kayaking on spring-fed streams, hiking, camping, etc. We also have wineries nearby and a Wal-Mart Super Center.
Don't tempt me, Andrew.
It never hurts to submit a resume. *wink wink, nudge nudge*
I second this, bring the high and mighty Brad to MO. Besides, if you live in Rolla - makes attending #heweb08 an afterthought.
I love the outdoors. and Super Wal-Mart. :-) I'm being serious. I think Missouri is beautiful! I hope you all find a qualified person that can appreciate the beauty of MO.
I hope so, too.
Folks, this position is still open. We're having absolutely no luck attracting qualified candidates. I'm starting to take it personally. What's wrong with me?
Andrew -

Don't take it personally. I think this is a trend and something that scares me . When I was hiring in the past, I would get typically get 80-100 resumes and around 25 qualified candidates. During my last search this spring, I only got 10 resumes. That search was suspended and now my campus is in a hiring freeze. When I am finally allowed to fill my vacant positions, I am concerned about finding qualified candidates.
At least I know I'm not alone. You're right -- it is scary.

Archived magazine stories

Greetings,What are you all doing online with "old" magazine stories? Do you delete issues after so  many years? 5 years? 10? I'm torn between keeping all on for historical purposes or keeping just a few years online to simplify the site (ala Gerry McGovern.) Curious as to what you see best practices being.ThanksSara KisseberthBluffton Universitywww.bluffton.eduSee More
