Last year we initiated a blogging strategy where paid students setup individual wordpress.com blogs and posted about their time here. We had 6 bloggers and aggregated the latest blog posts for each blogger on a page linked to admissions www.union.edu/blogs
This year we have 10 bloggers and are considering switching strategies to a single blog with multiple users and a preset category list with key talking points (academics, campus life, etc.). We hope to leverage the aggregated posts in these categories from different voices and pull them into our primary website alongside contextually related marketing pages. For example our dining marketing page on www.union.edu will feature a blog feed of posts about dining at Union from multiple students.
Which is a more effective strategy for recruitment (visitors who are prospects and their parents)?
Any example sites would be great
