Whether your campus has adopted an out-of-the-box learning management system (LMS), an open source solution or has developed a home-grown course management system (CMS), challenges surrounding management, deployment, assessment, upgrades, training, support, security and integration with campus resources are universal. The LMS Unconference SIG will focus on these common issues.
The LMS unSIG is scheduled for March 5, 2012 and will be held at Holy Cross College in Worcester MA. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in pre-conference discussion online and submit topics for sessions. The session topics will be voted into the day’s agenda at the event. Attendees will enjoy a keynote address with Michael Feldstein (mfeldstein.com
) while facilitators finalize the schedule. Then, attendees will spend the remainder of the day presenting, debating and dissecting all things LMS.
This is a unique opportunity to approach LMS issues in a platform neutral environment, sharing and learning strategies for system assessment, implementation, training, design and support in all campus areas.
Regular *NERCOMP SIG registration fees apply for members and non-members.
