That is GREAT news about the HTML editor. It looks good in the marketing materials, but I'm glad to hear it is also actually good.
thanks!
We've used Ektron for 3 years and were not happy with the HTML editor built into the product, until our most recent 8.6 upgrade. With that release, Ektron has integrated the Aloha HTML 5 editor and the posting experience is so much better now. We have 30-40 trained posters within various departments as well as a student web content team that works for me. I have chatted with Akumina, but have not partnered with anyone. We've handled most of the development work in house.
Here at IUP, we're still using Ektron, and planning on an upgrade to version 8.6 by summer. We're currently on version 7.6.6. We have workflow turned on, and a group of four (our web team) approves content for ~400 "web maintainers," as we call them. We had an implementation partner early on, but haven't for years now.
hi folks -- this group doesn't seem too active, but is anyone here still using ektron? if so, what version? how is the content managed (single or low number of content managers versus a larger pool of editors/users)? has anyone partnered with akumina (based in NH)?
