Thanks for the response, Marcel.

I forwarded it to our Web Marketing partner to see if they can perhaps adjust things on their end.

My hunch is that the JS tracking code still works even though OU removed the CDATA tags - I'm asking them to confirm whether or not it works before trying anything tricky.

Jesse,

CDATA sections in an XML document are interrupted by the transformation engine as to be containing text, therefore the on publish the CDATA element is removed and the content will remain.

If it is your intention to preserve the CDATA element through publish, you can re-write tbe CDATA markup to treat the CDATA element as text also. Alternatively, you could move the CDATA code to an include file, bypassing the transformation altogether. For more specific assitance please contact our support department at support@omniupdate.com

Do any other OU users have problems with OU stripping out CDATA tags when you publish tracking codes?
